A note from Darkness to Light’s CEO:

At Darkness to Light, we believe every child deserves a safe, healthy, and happy childhood. For more than 25 years, we have worked to empower adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse through education, awareness, and community engagement. We are especially grateful for partners like Mac Saturn, who are willing to use their platform and voice to help shine a light on an issue that is too often left in the dark. 

When the band discovered that an abuser had been in their midst, they were devastated — and they responded with intention. Rather than turning away, they came to us seeking to educate themselves and left with a deeper understanding of why prevention work matters. That awareness grew into a meaningful partnership. Through donations from their ticket sales, Mac Saturn is now helping fund the training and community outreach that make real change possible.

Change happens when people come together with courage, compassion, and a commitment to protecting children. By raising awareness, supporting prevention efforts, and encouraging the conversations that matter most, we can build safer communities and a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
